This answer was rated:

My husband really sweats at night. He has had occasional chesty coughs & a recent chest infection. He stopped smoking 10 years ago.
I don't think he has TB as in general is fit & well, & has an active job.
Should I be concerned? Is there anything else I should suggest he gets checked for?
Hi--has he had a recent chest x-ray? No fever, weight loss, fatigue?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Yes, he had a chest X-ray in April when he had collapsed at midnight & I took him to A&E. It identified a severe chest infection. He was treated with 2 courses of 2 different antibiotics.

But for now none of the symptoms I mentioned Gill?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

No other symptoms

OK I agree this isn't TB and probably nothing to worry about but if his doctor doesn't know about this he should. Overactive thyroid and lymphoma and leukemia can cause night sweats but if he's otherwise fine I doubt either of those
