I have a problem with balance.
Is there any medication that can help?
Ken zallison
Hi Ken. Was he saying the risk of surgery for it was too great? And has your balance problem been fully evaluated? What other medical conditions do you have? And how is the other carotid?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Yes re risk
Other side front 40%
I had a mini stroke 10 years ago but recovered well.
Regarding my balance problem my local doctor prescribed cinnazine.this brought its own problem with tremors. At this stage I was told to stop.
I recently had a DaT scan which was negative for Parkinson's
Nothing was said about my balance & was told there is nothing to help me
OK Are you taking any other medications?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
OK Ken. And we can continue after this if you'd like. Better medications for you would be gabapentin or verapamil but I would also refer you to a physiatrist--a physical medicine and rehabilitation MD specialist--for craniocervical manitpulations that can often resolve the kind of balance problem you have
