I am sorry you are having these headaches.
these headaches can be from several causes.
sinus infection or severe sinus inflammation called sinusitis can cause severe headaches and dizziness and pain behind the eyes as well.
antibiotic therapy and steroid therapy and steroid nasal sprays can help decrease inflammation in the sinuses
Thank you for responding, should I worry about the stabbing pains in my head or could it be connected?
the stabbing pain could be related to the bad headaches.
do you have sinus congestion or stuffy or runny nose?
your headaches could also be migraine headaches or food allergy headaches
or caffeine withdraw headaches if you stopped drinking coffee or caffeine drinks.
so many issues can cause headaches.
with new headaches it is always a good idea to see your GP doctor and get a full examination and evaluation to find out what is causing the headaches.
I dont have a stuffy nose, ive recently had a sickness and diarrhoea bug. I have cut out caffiene to help with bladder issues
cutting out that caffeine.
could be causing your headaches now.
recent sickness and diarrhea can cause dehydration and that can cause headaches as well
you might need to drink more fluids and juice and gadorade to help bring up your fluid levels and replace fluids.
I hope your diarrhea is better.
you might need Imodium to help stop diarrhea.
caffeine withdraw headaches can take some times to get better.
sometimes a few weeks.
Thanks for your help, you have my mind at ease
