Dr. David :

yes, you could have a lung infection

Dr. David :

or a bad asthma attack.

Dr. David :

you should go to the hospital or A&E and see a doctor and get a chest xray

Dr. David :

to check for infection.

JACUSTOMER-le755ufn- : You say I could have a lung infection and yet I can still blow 300 on my peak flow meter. I don't have this all day but last night when I tried to lye on my left side my breathing was worse.
Dr. David :

if you have bad anxiety symptoms, this can cause you to have chest tightness as well.

JACUSTOMER-le755ufn- : If ive got lung infection how come I can still blow 300 on peak flow meter. Tried to lye on left side last night in bed but breathing was worse. I would know if it was asthma attack.
Dr. David :

if your stomach was bloated last night or after you ate, your stomach could have been distended and this can cause difficulty taking a deep breath

JACUSTOMER-le755ufn- : i do have lot of anxiety problems with my health.
Dr. David :

you need a pulmonary function test to check your lung air flow.

Dr. David :

yes, bad anxiety and panic attacks can cause chest tightness.

JACUSTOMER-le755ufn- : it doesn't hurt to take deep breaths
Dr. David :

that is good it doesn't hurt.

Dr. David :

are you on medications to help decrease anxiety or panic attacks?

Dr. David :

like klonopin or valium or ativan or xanax?

JACUSTOMER-le755ufn- : i had blood clot in left lung 17 years ago after hip opp
JACUSTOMER-le755ufn- : no im not on those just painkillers.
Dr. David :

the only way to know if you have a lung blood clot is to go to the ER or hospital for testing.

JACUSTOMER-le755ufn- : had blood lot in left lung 17 years ago after hip OPP that should read clot.
JACUSTOMER-le755ufn- : I will have to ring my doctor up Monday to get me checked over.
Dr. David :

that would be a good idea.

JACUSTOMER-le755ufn- : I will have to ring doctor up Monday to see if they will see me .
Dr. David :

they will see you.

Dr. David :

that is a good idea to see your doctor.
