I have a lumbar facet denervation procedure booked next week and I have a question
Pure and simple, if pregnant, no fluroscopy.
In fact, you can get a blood test to see if you are pregnant, beta HCG
It is not too early

could you please give me any more information about why its so pure and simple and what the risks are?

In early pregnancy the fetus is susceptible to ANY exposure, even indirect exposure in say, health care workers.
Direct procedures raise the risk of birth defects.
No doctor would recommend an elective exposure to direct radiation.
However, if you simply get a beta HCG test and it is negative, then the point is moot.
There are more conservative treatments for this type of pain as well.
Risks, birth defiects. Fetal loss, growth retardation, and neurological deficits.
Beyond 20 weeks of pregnancy however, almost no procedure carries a great risk.
OK, so that is an initial answer….
