how do I treat a wax burn on my thumb? I peeled the wax off and the skin come off too! Is epaderm ok as an emollient??

It depends on the depth and width.
It needs to be examined.
I would not use epiderm.
By definition this is at least a 2nd degree burn.
I would use polysporin ointment and a none stick gauze until you can be seen.
Anytime skin is missing, healing can be problematic.
