I have over curvature of the nail and as a result rely on a constant supply of antibiotics to clear up my nail infections (ingrown fingernails). I am told it is a rare condition but that surgery is an option. Will it be similar to the surgery i had on my toenails and if so will it be under local antiseptic or will i need a GA to stop me fidgeting. Also i am told that i bleed quite a lot and that this is why i needed to be put under for tooth removal etc.

I was refered all around the house to bristol and other areas in england as it is a 'rare' condition.
