I am 63 think I pulled muscle by stretching too far 2 months ago, pain was slight on upper right back to begin and then got worse with muscle spasms all over upper back and pain on left as well. Can't lift anything without pain and right arm starting to feel weak. Taking pain medication but its not healing

When you say that the pain is in the upper right back, does this extend to the neck?
Have you had any imaging studies of the back?
