I would like to ask is there any treatment for a PCOS please
Hi Joelle. Before I answer can you tell me if you have PCOS and, if so, what treatment you may have had so far?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Well I went to see the doctor cause very month I got period for over 10 days last month it start from 28 of February until 24 march so she gave me oral L, Fefal, etham I think it called, vitamins, calcium, candid v to put inside
But the report she wrote PCOS after the ultra sound scan
OK Joelle--I don't recognize the first three medications you listed--was one of those birth control pills of some time, and, if so, did it make any difference with yur period?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Yes she told me it might help but it stop already but I think inside my body it's blood because sometime it see red spot

OK--we can continue after this if you'd like but, yes, there is treatment for PCOS

One would be birth control pills like what you're taking

Other medications would include metformin, spironolactone, and Actos

Usually with one or more of these medications a patient with PCOS can achieve regular periods that don't last for ten days
