Customer Question

My husband has been working in South Sudan, Africa recently. He has returned home after suffering from Malaria and has been treated by a medic whilst out there.
He is displaying signs of confusion when he talks, hot sweats ,a blinding headache at times and burning up.
I am not convinced he has been treat properly but am finding it difficult to ge information from him.
Is this normal?

Hi. We can continue after this but no this is not normal. Falciparum malria is expecially nasty and can cause neurological symptoms like his. He needs to see a doctor right away--A&E if necessary--for a full evaluation and since we don't know exactly what his previous treatment was he may well need different medication
