Customer Question

My son had just been diagnosed with Prostatis and is quite a bit of pain. He is 40 years old but he is worried that he had been misdiagnosed and it could be prostrate cancer instead. The doctor did carry out anal examination would the doctor be able to tell from the examination

It would not be likely to have prostate cancer at age 40.
This is likely infection, as has been diagnosed.
Cancer does not present like this, with acute pain, but rather with intermittant and chronic symptoms.
Anal examination should be enough in this case.
OK, so that is an initial answer….
