My childs new permanent teeth look yellow and in different lights they appear to change colour. I am concerned that there is something wrong with the enamel. Thank you . Susan
Hi there.
Thank you for your question.
I will be helping you out with your queries.
Some variation in the color of the teeth is something normal.
It does not at all indicate a problem with the enamel of the teeth.
So I would not worry whatsoever if he is otherwise healthy.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Is it possible to explain why the teeth appear different colour in some light or shade.

It is due to the color of the light that reflects on the teeth.
It is a normal occurrence and does not indicate any disease process.
