Customer Question

I had my bloods done recently and the NEUTROPHILS result was 45.6% 1.73.
It was highlighted and I gather it is low, but my doctor has not asked to see me again. Can you explain the significance of this reading?

This is not a significant finding.
Your percent is actually in the normal range.
Your count is slightly low.
We see this all the time, and in the absence of any other abnormalities, it is insignificant in almost all case.
This is why your doctor has not mentioned it.
You can simply have the lab repeated at your annual physical.
OK, so that is an initial answer….
