I've just had a virus for the last few days which seems to have subsided - over the last 24 hours I've started to become dizzy and had some minor headaches. What could be causing this?
Hi there.
Thank you for your question.
I will be helping you out with your queries.
Could again be related to residual symptoms of the viral infection.
It should subside in a few days at the most.
Dizziness happens when there is infection of the inner ear's part called vestibule which is important in maintaining balance.
These symptoms usually do go away in sometime.
Meanwhile medications like antivert, which is OTC, can help with the dizziness.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Kind regards

Thanks - could it be a symptom of anaemia?
Yes these could be symptoms of anemia as well as a large number of other conditions related to heart and brain but I mentioned the most likely possibility.
