This answer was rated:

Hi, my lips are really swallon especially if I go to sleep or if I stay on bed

Hi. How long has this been going on?

Any itching or rash involved with this?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

6 month sometimes I've got itching

Have you seen a doctor about this Roberto?

Does it happen during the day when you're not in bed?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Yes I used to licked my lips and I put cucumber, honey, vaseline, after few month I went to the doctor and he gave me hydrocortisone but it didn't help

In the morning and when I go to bed they swallon

Any problem with indigestion or heartburn?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

OK. There are two possibilities here Roberto

One would be gastric acid reflux even if you don't have a heartburn problem

The other would be an allergic reaction, perhaps to the detergent you wash your sheets in.

For now I suggest you try Prevacid or Prilosec daily for two weeks and take benadryl before bedtime and first thing in the morning.

If that doesn't help, you need to ask your doctor for a prescription for prednisone

Let me know if you need more information please

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I think it's an allergic reaction but I don't know which detergent or food?

Well if it's detergent you could try washing your sheets in just water alone

As for food, you'd have to eliminate one type of food at a time to see which food it is, but in that case it would be better to get a referral to an allergist for allergy testing

Ok, can I use some vaseline

I'd suggest both vaseline and Caladryl lotion Roberto
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Where shall I find the caladryl lotion?

Do I need to put it together or one at the time?

That's over the counter and you can just ask for it at any pharmacy. I'd use both together

Let me know how it goes and please remember to rate my service to you

Customer: replied 2 years ago.
