I have a large lump on my breast, uneven, crusty, black and brown which is often itchy and worries me. I have seen pictures like it on the internet and they say to get checked. However, I have been twice and I'm just told it's just a mole. It grows and it does worry me but I don't like to go back a third time. Regards, Pam
Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, Experienced Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

This can be a benign mole known as seborrheic keratosis.
A disorderly growth of the oil glands of the skin.
This can cause itchiness, crusting but the color does not get deeper or darer usually.
Most likely not concerning even though slightly increasing ni size.
However, a dermatologist or skin specialist should be consulted with for dermoscopic exam which helps to diffrentiate between benign and cancerous mole better.
Also this can be excised or removed by a dermatologist easily.
So, next time you should visit a dermatologist.

Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
