I found a lymph node in my neck about 7 years ago. It hasn't grown and I have no symptons. Should I be worried
This is Dr. David

no, you shouldn't be worried

7 years is a long time.

it sounds like you are feeling a normal lymph node if it has been 7 years.

how old are you?

are you male or female?

how large is this lymph node?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I am 31 and I'm female. It's roughly 1 cm. It doesn't stick out I literally have to look for it. It's seems to be part of the muscle at back of my neck.

1cm is a normal sized lymph node.

just being able to feel a lymph node does not mean it is abnormal.

if it has not changed in size for 7 years, it is 100% benign.

lymph nodes are normal parts of our body's immune system

they help filter lymphatic fluid to help keep you healthy.
