iv got an swollen calf mucle i went to the a & e .& they told me that there was no clot so hopfully i dont have to were compression stockings so could tell me please wot do i do now now my gp thinks its a good idea for me to wear the stockings but i dont want to can you help me

I think that this may just be a muscular injury to your calf.
This can take up to two to four weeks to recover completely.
I would recommend that you should take something like ibuprofen 200 mg to 400 mg two to three times a day to reduce your pain and inflammation.
