Customer Question

I spilled ink on my chest and rubbed it off with a cloth in the shower and now I am left with a red patch where my skin was rubbed. It stings when I touch it and I am in a foreign country so I can't go to a doctor. What can I do to get rid of the red patch and how long will it take?

This is Dr. David

you should use neosporin on the area to help cover the red patch and put a large bandaid covering over it

and wash it daily when you shower with soap and water

and after you shower put neosporin on the red patch and cover with a large bandaid.

it will take a few days, but the red patch will get better

let me know if you have other questions.
