Hello. I developed a discomfort "inside" my ankle yestersay - towards the front. There was no injury or event. It just started.Walking today is sometimes OK and sometimes uncomfortable. There is no pain as such. Any suggestions ?
Hi there.
Thank you for your question.
I will be helping you out with your concerns today.
I am sorry to hear about your problem.
Sounds like a ligamental or muscular stress that is causing the discomfort that you are having.
You should try giving adequate rest to your foot i.e. do not run or walk briskly for a week or two to help that area heal up.
Taking some anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen or naproxen may also help with the pain and inflammation.
If your symptoms persist or become severe you should be seen to rule out a stress fracture in one of the small bones of the foot.
