Hello years ago I was told I'd inflammation spine brain CNS. Later was told I'd ms. At moment still mobile until flare up. Then all settled down. My ms consultant who said I had rrms. Sometimes it then turned too benign. Recently was changed too a new consultant due to my normal one having too go off on long term sick. This new one is more or less saying I dont have ms. My MRI showed white spots brain and base of spine which due too my age these could be there anyway. I'm 55. Says I'm on no meds for it if I even have it. So confused????
Hi. Can I first ask what your symptoms are?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Hi my symptoms are weakness all down right side. Pins and needles in hand and foot : right: have too self catheter 2/4 times a week but not every week. Do this cause I'm not emptying bladder fully. Have a lot of pain burning stinging pain down right leg. My balance is very bad. Very tired nearly all of the time.

Just to be clear here Millie--have you had an MRI of your spine, and, if so, what exactly did it show?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Yes I have had MRI of spine and same time had scan of my brain. Showed white spots on brain and base of spine not sure sure if spots is correct word. Just showed markings on brain and spine

OK--so if the new consultant doesn't think you have MS what does he say the problem is?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Functional neurological disorder. My GPS and phyiso don't agree with consultant.

I also don't agree with that Millie but neither do I agree with MS. This sounds like ALS--also known as Lou Gehrig's disease and for that diagnosis you'll need a muscle biopsy, nerve conduction studies and EMG's
