I am pregnant 6th week. I did blood test and found out my rubella igm is 4.26
I am really worry I did the test again it was 4.24
Should I consider miscarriage? thank you

Hi there,This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.I understand your concerns.If you did not have any rash within last 2 weeks, then this test is not likely accurate.Rubella IgM can be falsely positive as well from cross reactivity with other antibodies ( rheumatoid diseases, or other infections).Also your titer is not increasing rapidly ( IgG) that also speaks against any acute rubella infection.Hence, you do not need to worry about this result.You should have normal pregnancy.
