When I grip my arm just above my wrist I get pins and needles

This answer was rated:

when I grip my arm just above my wrist I get pins and needles in my knuckle on my index finger, this happens on my left hand but more on my right hand. Also my big toes when I run my finger along the big toe and up my feet I'm getting the same tingling sensation. This has been happening for two or three weeks now. Have you any idea what can be causing this?
This is not a specific sign of any diagnoses.
You could be causing it by pressuring nerves.
To see if it means anything [examples: carpal tunnel syndrome/tarsal tunnel syndrome] you need a physician exam and perhaps testing.
