Customer Question

Hi my name is***** am A hgv driver and for 4 days now I have been suffering with floaters in my eyes and every now and then I get severe spots in my eyes moving across my eyes from the right side of my vision and then clears after a few seconds. for the the first couple of days I had a dull headache but that has gone now. I have been to my doctor and he could find nothing wrong blood pressure was good and so on. I saw an optician yesterday he could find nothing untoward either. I am becoming concerned as it doesn't seem to ease at all.

This is Dr. David
being a driver, I can see how your vision is very important to you.
you need to see an ophthalmologist and get a more complete eye and retinal exam.
opticians only check on your vision and visual acuity.
you need a dilated pupil retinal exam to check on your retina
you might need a brain MRIs can as well.
headaches can come from lack of sleep, dehydration, food allergies, migraines, anxiety, TMJ syndrome and other causes.
so it sounds like you need more testing
let me know if you have questions.
