Customer Question

My stomach has blown up like a balloon in the last few hours. No pain just very uncomfortable. I am 68 years old mail and remember that my father in law had something similar and was dead from cancer within weeks.

Hi, Thanks for your question. I'm Dr. Hasan and I'll try to help you. I am sorry to hear about your problem. I am going to address your primary concern but later you can ask anything you want. It can be excessive gas, acid reflux or least likely some obstruction. As far as cancer is concerned, it is out of question because cancer never show up like this all of a sudden. There has to be history of nausea, vomiting etc for weeks to months. I give you my words that you don't even need to think about cancer with these symptoms of this much duration. Just take some gas X (OTC) and see if it helps. If the symptoms persist, go to ER for a checkup but don't even think about cancer, I reassure you. I wish you good luck and that you get well soon. My goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have received anything less, please reply back as I am happy to address follow-up questions. Kindly rate me when you are done. You can come back here to ask anything even after you have rated the answer. I will be glad to help you always. Regards
