I have found a small lump under my left rib cage. It's not

Customer Question

Hi I have found a small lump under my left rib cage. It's not painful but I can move it around with my fingers. I'm only 29 years old and I'm scared it something serious. Do you have any ideas as to what it could be?

This is Dr. David
the lump being non painful and movable are both good signs that it is not cancer and most likely not something serious.
most likely you are feeling a benign cyst or a normal benign lymph node
you can show this small lump to your GP doctor at your next evaluation.
I bet your doctor will not be worried about it
you can even get an ultrasound of the lump to know more about it, if it is filled with fluid or solid. but I bet the ultrasound will show benign and not worrisome findings.
