Customer Question

My partner is 48 and she has recently started to wee her self when she coughs or sneezes.
It isn't wee,I believe it comes from her vaginas. It has no odour or colour.

Hi there,This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.Coughing or sneezing increases intra abdominal pressure. That can cause leakage through the bladder sphincter --urine leakage is possible. With aging the sphincter can become lax. Also vaginal secretion can come out as well. Both possibilities can be treated with an anti cholinergic medication.Oxybutynine is commonly prescribed 5-10 mg daily with good effect.Best wishes,It was my pleasure to help you today. If I have answered all your questions, Please rate my response Excellent (click on the 5th star). Please bookmark my profile for fast, reliable and authentic answers! This is the link to my profile:
