Customer Question

I have to push my tongue on my teeth all day long 24/7. I collect a lot of saliva and cannot speak much at all. Suddenly my tongue will rise I never know when it can be every second or go as long as half an hour.

HelloThis can indeed be a stress response.I have seen it in my practice. It often requires medication therapy to stop.Along with somatic therapy [body work].And psychological therapy. Your medical doctor needs to rule out other problems as well.Specifically, you need a good neurological exam, and things such as brain diseases needs to be ruled out, at least by examination, and perhaps neurological consultation.Excess saliva is another issue, and has a long medical differential, from neurological disease, to heavy metal toxicity and you should be discussing this with your medical doctor as well. OK, so that is an initial answer….Please use reply to expert if you have further questions. When you are ready, please click a positive rating [hopefully excellent]. If you forgot something, come back. I am here daily.
