I wanted some advice. I have been t total now for 11years. I am 37 now and a women with holistic belifs.. I quit drinking because I had a tendency to always drink too much and was always very ill after and had regular experiences of depression.
I went on to live a vegan life within a yoga philosophy and have alwasy been extremely proud of the fact that i quit alcohol for so long.
however recently i have been wondering about maybe enjoying the odd glass of wine. I feel I would enjoy the experience but i am worried that it may bring about the depression and that I would be really disappointed in myself.
I also wonder if i have become too controlling in how i live my life and wonder if an odd glass of wine may loosen me up emotionally?
I feel abit confused about it and would really really value your opinion.
Thank you in advance xx
Thank you for your question, you can set up your mind and read the complications of alcohol, it is true that an odd glass of vine will not do any harm, still it may open up a door which can lead to loss of control, you should be proud of yourself for stopping alcohol and imagine it as the best thing that has ever happened to you.. I will suggest holding your courage for longer. Let me know if i can help further.
