I have been extremely tired last week but I'm not under

Customer Question

I have been extremely tired for the last week but I'm not under any more stress from work. I am sleeping most nights from 6/7pm until 6.30/7am the following morning and still feeling extremely tired. I've also noticed a quite large painful and tender lump, not visible to the eye, on the right side of my groin 1-2 inch diagonally down from my hip bone (gland perhaps) and I've had a migraine last night and severe headache today. Loss of appetite. Should I go to the doctor, am I just run down? Should I be concerned about the lump?
Thank you

This is Dr. Davidyou should go to the doctorsyou could have a mononucleosis viral infection which can cause severe fatigue and enlarged lymph nodes.there are blood tests which can confirm if you have mono infectionyou could have abnormal thyroid hormone levelsor low iron levels or most likely are feeling a benign or reactive groin lymph node in that areaI am a cancer doctor.your symptoms don't sound like they point to cancer at this point.but you should see your GP doctor for some blood testing.let me know if you have other questions.if done for now, please leave positive rating above the chat box so I can get credit for helping you todaywe only get credit for helping clients after positive feedbackyou can always reach me with "a question for Dr. David" in the medicine or oncology categories if you have any other questionshere is my website if you need to reach me again: for using
