Good evening,
My son, who is 13 years old, has had an extremely sore throat for about 2 days now. This problem has been reoccurring every month or so since September. He has had blood tests for Glandular Fever, which came back negative and our doctor said that his tonsils looked fine, although his throat looked sore. He has been in pain for a few days and I have given him paracetamol and ibuprofen if the pain has got too much. Tonight however, he vomited - it was what little food he had eaten today, but mostly phlegm. His skin is also motley and he tells me that his stomach feels heavy. I feel that this may be viral, but am unsure about his skin. Please could you let me know if this is a usual condition if someone has a virus? Thank you in advance,
