This is Dr. Davidbrown vaginal discharge?sharp left inferior abdominal pain? it sounds like you are worried about having ovarian cancer.when was your last normal period?at your age are you after your menopause?the brown vaginal discharge could be old blood coming outbut any sort of vaginal discharge after menopause needs to be checked by your doctorand you need a uterine ultrasound to check your uterus and a gyn you have a GP doctor?

I don't consider I'm through menopause yet. LMP (proper bleed) was about 3 months ago.

it sounds like you are most likely perimenopausal.the brown vaginal discharge can be old blood coming out.the left lower quadrant pain could be due to constipation or ovarian cysts.if you are worried about ovarian cancer, you can see your GP doctor and get a pelvic ultrasoundbut most likely this will not show ovarian cancer .let me know if you have other questions.
