Customer Question

My husband has been out of hospital for nearly two weeks suffering from severe pancreatitis. His appetite has decreased over those weeks and now just doesn't want to eat hardly anything. He also isn't drinking as much as he should.

HelloI am not sure what your question is.This warrants immediate examination and re-evaluation by his doctors.Stomach ulcers form readily in this situation. He might not be secreting proper pancreatic enzymes and need a period of replacement. In addition, what was the cause of the pancreatitis? If it was stones, this could be continuing.I suggest you take him back in immediately, either to his GP or A&E. OK, so you might have more questions or want to give me more information: Please use reply to expert if you have further questions.
