This is Dr. David

this depends on where the eye melanoma is

there are sclara plaque brachytherapy radiation options to give radiation locally to sclera (white of the eye) melanoma

surgery on the eye or to remove the eye is an option as well

is a good webpage from MSKCC talking about treatment options for eye melanomas.

these are rare eye tumors.

it is best to go to a larger hospital or cancer center where they see more of these types of rare eye cancers and have all the treatment options.

in the UK, are you able to get to

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust*****
London, EC1V 2PD
