Ya, I was in Spain a few weeks ago and i got what i think

I was in Spain a few weeks ago and i got what i think was a simple bladder infection. I was in pain when i was peeing, badly in pain, and when i wiped there was very very very faint pink (no blood in my urine). we went to the doctors and he diagnosed me with septic urania. Researching this has shown me that it is very very dangerous. I have finished my antibiotics and am completely fine now. However a few days after i started my treatment i had premature period as i was still on the pill. When i called the doctor she assured me that is normal because i haven't had a break for 2 months straight and onto of the spill i was taking a very powerful antibiotic. Can you please tell me if theres something i should be worried about?

Well i do understand your concern and i assure you that you will be fine and you should not be worried.

Your urine infection is most likely cured from the antibiotic and now you are safe.

Regarding early bleeding while on the pill i do think that antibiotics may interfere with the working of the pill and may make it less effective.

Probably hormone fluctuations may cause early period and this should not be a problem.

I hope this helps

Thank you doctor, so you don't think its sepsis?

If urine infection is not treated with antibiotics it can result in sepsis. But since you all already treated you should be safe.
