I took 2 emergency contraceptive pills in the same cycle -

This answer was rated:

Hello - I took 2 emergency contraceptive pills in the same cycle - perhaps 2/3 weeks apart. This was in early May. On both occasions there was sexual contact, but no actually penetrative sex.
I have not had a period since then, and have take 3 at home pregnancy tests - all negative.
I'm still worried and was wondering if taking 2 pills in the same cycle could override a pregnancy test. I can't shake the thought even though I know it's logically impossible I'm pregnant.

Thank you for your question.

You have absolutely no risk of pregnancy.

I think it is your anxiety that is getting the better of you.

Taking emergency pills twice is not something that can influence the pregnancy test.
