Been feeling off balance for the past couple of days. Feels like I'm intoxicated but I haven't had any alcohol intake. When I woke this morning the room was spinning.

Hello and thank you for your question. I’d be happy to assist you.

I understand your concern.
Well as you describe,it's vertigo and it can be caused due to various causes like Cervical spondylosis,Inner ear inflammation,Impairment of auditory nerve,Otosclerosis,Eustachian tube dysfunction,High blood pressure.

So you should firstly take OTC Meclizine.

Also hydrate yourself with plenty of fluids.

Monitor your blood pressure.

Do gentle massage with muscle relaxant ointment on back of neck.

If you have associated nausea, vomiting, hearing loss, severe headache then visit ER.

Otherwise you should see either your regular doctor first or ENT specialist for further evaluation and management.

Let me know if you have any further query so we can discuss it thoroughly in every aspect.
