Customer Question

My problem now is that three times in three months I have had the shakes. I am diagnosed with dystonia. It starts with the hands shaking, then the upper body takes some hours, once I threw up. My body is stiff after the "seizure" other diagnoses are epilepsy ( had a tumour cut away), restless legs syndrome( keeps me awake) fibromyalgia and polimyalgia which is away. I do not get proper epileptical seizures, more absences and things.
This new thing makes me wonder how good I am at finding new things to entertain me

This is Dr. David

if you have epilepsy, these shakes can be due to seizure activity.

you need to get an EEG brain wave test which will show if you are having seizures

there are anti-seizure medications which can help stop these seizures.

you are probably taking antiseizure medications, if you have epilepsy.

even anti-seizure medications can help with absence seizures.

have you had an EEG brain wave test during one of these shaking episodes?
