Customer Question

I have Parkinson's for 8 years now.mi drink daily about 0 to 4 units a day, cut down about 2 years ago from x2 units which had been going on fir many years, I have numb Toes 4 years and hands have started, currently constipated and trouble starting to urinate. All put down to PD. Might this be nerve damage through alcohol instead. I'm a 58 year old male.

Dear customer,

Thanks for your question.

Yes it is possible that this may be due to alcohol and vitamin deficiency. I would recommend that you have tests done such as complete blood count, liver and renal function tests, as well as thiamine, vitamin B-12, and folic acid levels. The results will then diagnose the cause for your neuropathy.

Take care.
