Basically there are many causes for nose bleeds. In most cases they are due to a benign cause and nothing to worry about. However if these occurring for more than a week then consulting a doctor is recommended.
Most of the times such nose bleeds are an effect of dry air which makes the nasal membranes dry out, therefore making the membranes more susceptible to bleeding and infections. Nose picking and cold is also another common cause.
