Customer Question

My GP prescribed phenergan to my child almost 15month but he weighs around 14kg. He's the size and height of a toddler. 1ml I was told to take. I know it says on the packet not to give under 2yrs. But my children have had meds under the said age. Is it ok really to give phenergan?

No It is not ok. Phenergan is associated with fatal respiratory depression in children under 2 years of age. It has nothing to do with size or weight. It should not be used in a 14 month old for sleep.
