Hello, I'm a 45 year old Male, I have been diagnosed with
1) cervical myelopathy
2) offered c6/7 anterior cervical dissector you and fusion
But an abnormal ECG showed a problem...
Echocardiograms showed I have an enlarged heart and also my heart is pumping at 25/30% capacity. I've been told there is nothing they can do to increase my pumping capacity.
I've been advised I'm very high risk/significant risk of a stroke and/or heart attack during the spinal procedure...
I would like to know if there is anything that can be done to reduce my risk ?
Is there any statistics to show survival rates for people in my position ?
Thank you

Do we know why your heart pumping is down?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I was told it is because my heart is enlarged ? It wasn't explained fully to me.

There has to be a reason for it

sometimes it is reversible

are you seeing a great cardiologist?
