Customer Question

I have a foot injury that was very badly infected and doctors prescribed a few types of antibiotics without first taking a swab of the wound - these antibiotics were ineffective. Later, after a swab that determined the infection was from pseudomonas sp (10 ^7 conc.), I had other antibiotics by intravenous drip and by injection. All these different antibiotics were changed over a short period of just a few weeks.
Afterwards, I had liver enlargement and a problem with my liver function. A blood test showed AST, GGT, ALT were too high, and the doctor told me I had medical hepatitis. I also had high cholesterol. This was almost three years ago, and blood tests still show I have liver problems for which I take Essentiale Forte, and my cholesterol level is high despite carefully watching my diet by avoiding food high in cholesterol and saturated fats.
My question is, how can I improve my liver function, and what else can I do to lower my level of cholesterol without taking statins? Note, I cannot go to the gym, because the ligaments in my right foot still haven't fully healed, and exercise is painful.
Thank you, Olga
