Customer Question

I am an ice skating coach, whilst on the ice this morning I experienced sever pain down my left shin, I had only been on the ice for a few minutes. The pain was very acute and moved up to my groin. I still have a dull ache in my shin after approx 7hrs. I am 55yrs of age and must admit I'm a smoker. Any ideas as to what this could be?

Thank you for your question, this pain can be due to pinching of the sciatic nerve, in most cases it is self resolving. Unless you have symptoms of urinary and bowel incontinence, it is not serious .. Thank you.
