hi there,

i am online and will be happy to answer your questions,

what surgery you had>\?

any other symptoms? fever?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It was a sleeve gastrectomy with removal of band and repair of hernia. No other symptoms, no fever, so redness, but awful pain when I use my tummy muscles to get up or turn or twist. When I cough I feel like I am being stabbed. Its been like this since last Friday

hi again

thank you for replying back

one can have pain up to 6-8 weeks after surgery after this kind of operation.

do no lift heavy weight. or cough forcefully. use over the counter pain killers for symptomatic relief

if you get discharge from wound, get fever, or other symptoms, you should see you surgeon. otherwise i would advise to wait another 2 weeks with conservative management.

let me know if you have any more questions.
