I'm 9weeks pregnant and suffering a migraine attack, can I take Imigran

This is Dr. David. I am reviewing your question now and will be with you momentarily.

Imigran is sumatriptan for migraines.

caution is advised during pregnancy.

the risks for fetal harm is low based on human studies.

you should definitely let your ob/gyn doctor know you are taking it for your migraines.

do they know you have migraine headaches and that you may take the Imigran?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I am prescriped Imigran for the onset of migraine attacks. I've tried paracetamol but that had no effect

if your doctors have prescribed it to you, then you can take it.

work on drinking more water and fluids and try to get proper amounts of sleep

avoid alcohol and smoking.

let me know if you have other questions.
