I wear wigs due to and not pleasant particularly in summer.

Where is the hair growth problem occurring on your body?

Can you upload a picture of the area involved?

Has this been getting worse over the last 5 years?

Do you have any other medical problems or take any medications?

This is not an answer, but an Information Request. I need this information to answer your question. Please reply, so I can answer your question. I look forward to helping you.

On my head. No hair around edges. The rest is about 5inches amount of hair. 1 inch of hair around the itchy area ( area on scalp is about 3 inches, and that area continues to itch for many years, reason for the diprosalic)
Not getting worse but still the same and no improvement for 5 years
No medical problems but been prescribed with iron as i get anaemic.Hope this helps.

Would a photo show this area well? If so, can you upload a few...

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I don't think will make any difference and apart from that area, there's the edges as well as the rest of hair refusing to grow.

It sounds like you are suffering from female pattern hair loss.

This is more common than you might think....

The most common cause is normal hormonal changes, which makes sense at your age of 42.

The best thing to do would be to consult with a dermatologist for a complete exam and some blood work.

On the internet you will find many creams, lotions, pills, diets and machines/gimmicks that say they can solve this issue. Don't believe any of them...they are all scams.

Here is a very good web site from a highly respected source that talks about hair loss that you might find helpful:

Does this make sense to you?
