Dear customer,

Thank you for replying.

Do you have any document regarding which procedure is being considered? Were you given any advice or instruction material?

Expert:  Dr. Ravoof replied 4 months ago.

Dear customer,

Thank you for replying.

Who told you that the procedure takes 10 hours? Is this time frame including the preparation for the procedure?

Expert:  Dr. Ravoof replied 4 months ago.

Dear customer,

Thank you for the question.

Normally this procedure itself should not take more than 30 minutes. If you are having a plain CT scan you will be taken to a CT examination room where a technologist will position you on the CT examination table, usually lying flat on your back. You may be given pillows to help you maintain the correct position and to help you remain still during the exam. Then similar to x-ray CT scans will be taken for a few minutes. This is a painless procedure and there is nothing for you to worry about. You can safely do this procedure as advised by your doctor.

Take care.
