Customer Question

Hello I have many, white-ish bumps on both my nipples, but more on the left.I have looked at google images and cannot match any pictures with mine. The closest i got was to identify as montgomery tubercles, however they are predominantly on my nipples not areola. I think i have had these for quite a while but they seem to have got worse and more noticeable recently. My breasts are also a bit tender (I am due to menstruate in a week so could be because of that).I am not pregnant, but have had 2 pregnancies in the past. I have been taking microgynon 30 for ten months and Sertraline for depression for approximately 12 months.

Thanks for the information Rachel!

These are Montgomery tubercle

These are just sebaceous glands opening around the nipples

They can be prominent in some females and also if nipples are stimulated they become prominent

So nothing problematic in this

The tenderness in the nipples can be due to premenstrual syndrome and it will get better once you start menstruating
