I am Dr. Gehring and pleased to help you with your question.

Wasp's stings are very painful! Please cool your hand with coolpacks or cold water and never let it hang down to prevent swelling. Ibuprofen can help against swelling and inflammation if your kidneys and stomach are healthy.

You can trest the sting yourself as long as the swelling isn't getting more. If the whole hand is swollen or even red please see a doctor. This may be a sign of bacterial infection and will have to be treated with antibiotics.

I wish you the very best! Of course I will answer any follow-up questions you may have. A 5-star rating would be most appreciated. Without a positive rating I will not get any credit for my help. Thank you!
